At Grace, we believe that a healthy church must be deeply rooted in Biblical conviction and cooperation. Our partnerships with churches, networks and mission organizations allow us to participate in the Great Commission on a larger scale by training leaders, supporting missionaries, planting churches, and reaching our communities with the hope of Jesus Christ. Through these partnerships, we can provide opportunities for members to grow in ministry, explore their calling, participate in church planting, and even be sent as missionaries within Canada and abroad.

At the same time, we firmly hold to the historic Baptist Conviction of local church autonomy. This means that Grace remains accountable first and foremost to Christ as the Head of the Church, governed by the authority of Scripture, and guided by the convictions our church has prayerfully adopted. We do not surrender our beliefs, doctrine, leadership, or mission to any outside organization. While we may not agree with every method, preference, or secondary conviction of every church within our wider ministry networks, we recognize that faithful Christians can partner together in the greater work of proclaiming the Gospel. Our unity is not built upon uniformity in every practice but upon our shared commitment to Jesus, His Word, and His command to make disciples.

For those who call Grace their church home, they belong to a larger family focused on Kingdom-minded stewardship. A church that stands firmly on Biblical truth while humbly joining hands with other believers to accomplish more together than we ever could alone. We are a church that values theological conviction, responsible leadership, and meaningful accountability, all the while focused on our mission to be a church that sends, supports and multiplies. For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? How are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher? But how are they to preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!” However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
